What is Voices of Hope ?

Voices of Hope is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with mental illness and other related daily struggles. VOH exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and invest directly into treatment and recovery.

Voices of Hope began in 2014, when our founders, Jazz Thornton and Genevieve Mora came together to talk about thier experience and journey with mental health, since then Voices Of Hope has become a not for profit movement which serves as a bridge to hope and help for people facing the same issues.

How can i get involved .

Thanks for your interest in supporting Voices Of Hope! There are a number of ways to get involved. We encourage you to check out our Facebook page to get started. From there you can help us start a conversation, find ways to bring VOH to your community, fundraise, and join us in campaigns to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health. Other simple ways to support our cause include the giving of donations and in the future representing us by wearing Voices Of Hope merchandise.

Where does all the money go ?

Voices of Hope uses the proceeds from donations and Merch sales to carry out media projects, programs, and events that help us share our message of hope and help. In the future we will be investing a portion of funds directly into treatment and recovery.

I have friend who is struggling ,what do you suggest i do?

When a friend does open up to you, it’s important to be patient and supportive and to listen with an open mind. You might not be able to relate to how your friend is feeling and it may be uncomfortable to have this conversation, but again, even just listening is a huge help. Alternatively contact any of the organisations in our Find Help section

In an emergency or if you feel you or someone you know is at risk, please call 111
