"Journey" - By Libby Huirua

Journey, written by Libby Huirua was one of the key resources that helped Co-Founder of Voices of Hope, Jazz, get through her battle. Through sharing aspects of her own life story thus far, Libby helps unpack the battle over our minds and thoughts, and the power that is actually in our hands to help bring change and ultimately freedom! Not a quick fix solution, but a worthwhile journey of hope and lasting change.

You can get Libby's book here.  You can also download her album that goes alongside the book on either iTunes or Spotify by looking up "Journey by Libby Huirua."

Brave Girls Club is a worldwide community of women (of every age!) who want to live the best, happiest, most productive and fabulously brave lives they can possibly live.”

Brave Girls Club was a resource Genevieve used throughout her struggle with mental illness. She HIGHLY recommends signing up to their daily emails. They send out letters via email that always seemed to come at the perfect time, the moments when she needed them the most.

The Mental Health Foundation website has some wonderful resources that are downloadable or FREE to order. We recently used their Suicide Prevention Manual and Personal Safety Plan for our "How to Fight" event goodie bags.

Flying causes me huge anxiety and while searching the web for tips on how to deal with it I came across the app SOAR. This has hugely helped with pre, during and post flight anxiety. I HIGHLY recommend giving this app a go if you too suffer flying anxiety.
